Easter Sunday Worship

Alleluia

Join us on Easter Sunday, March 31, at 10:00 am, as we celebrate the good news that the tomb is empty and that “He is risen, indeed!” The sanctuary is decorated with Easter Lilies and other beautiful spring flowers, and the word of the day is “Alleluia!” Each time we hear it, we wave our bright strips of colored fabric high in the air to add to the celebration. After the worship service is concluded on Easter Sunday, everyone in attendance usually gathers at the front of the sanctuary, where we take our annual “family picture.”

Worship at Oldtown is a time for all to gather as a family of faith to pray and sing, give thanks and praise, and open our ears, our eyes, our hearts, and our minds to God.  You can always expect an extravagant welcome and more when you join us for worship. In the words of our denomination, “No matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.” We look forward to seeing you on Easter Sunday.
