Each year, all of the third-graders in the North Attleborough schools are brought on a “Tour of the Town” to explore the history of North Attleboro. Oldtown is proud to have been a part of the tours for generations. In fact, we often have visitors come to our church for a wedding or funeral who say, “Hey, I remember coming to this church when I was in third grade!! Do you still have that bell and let the kids ring the bell and ride the rope?”
During the tour, we explain the history of our church and the role it played in the town’s creation and history, along with the role we currently play as a living, breathing house of worship.
