Welcome to the First Congregational Church of North Attleborough, or as we like to call it, the "Oldtown Church."
Our church is at the center of the area called "Oldtown" because it was the first settlement of the Attleboros,
receiving its charter in 1710. Built in 1828, our current meetinghouse is on the Historic Register and is a great
example of a traditional New England church. But we are also a vibrant Christian church family, meeting for worship
and church school every Sunday and serving the community we love joyously!
Maybe you remember us from the historical tours the elementary schools do every year... Maybe you've joined us for
breakfast with the Masons or before a Thanksgiving football game... Maybe your kids have their Cub Scout meetings here...
Maybe you've been to one of our monthly open-mic coffeehouses... Maybe you've been to one of our famous fairs or
joined us for a delicious supper... Even if you haven't been to Oldtown yet, know that you are welcome here!
We invite you to look around our site, learn about who we are. Come join us for worship some Sunday, bring the children
to Church School. Come sing in our choir or play the handchimes. Be part of our prayer-life. There is a place here for you...
a pew with a little door on it waiting for you to open it. Come and experience for yourself the extravagant welcome waiting
for you at Oldtown!
