Come join us on Friday, February 14th—VALENTINE’S DAY!—at 7pm in Maxcy Hall for the Oldtown Coffeehouse, hosted by students from the North Attleboro High School. As always, there will be a wide array of performers – young and old are welcome – and some good music, good poetry, and good times, and you’ll be helping support a worthy charity. This month’s theme is: “Songs That You Love.”
There is a $5 admission fee at the door, and a $1 donation is asked for snacks and drinks, with free refills of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. As always, all proceeds support local, national, and global charities, with a small portion going to Oldtown Church. This month, we are supporting Suicide Prevention. In the years since we have started our Coffeehouses, we have raised over $82,000, thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our performers and attendees!
If you are interested in performing, please contact one of the Coffeehouse Crew, or just check at the door as soon as you arrive to get on the set list. Looking ahead, our next coffeehouses are scheduled for March 20, April 24, and May 22.
We are also in need of helpers for load-in and load-out (set up and clean up) and to help out during the performances. If you’re interested in helping out, please SIGNUP ONLINE HERE.
