The General Synod of the United Church of Christ is much more than just the business meeting of the denomination. It’s a chance for members of the UCC from across the country and around the world to gather together and discuss the work of the church in the world, to propose and vote on resolutions that guide the church, and to enjoy the kind of worship, education, and fellowship that can be provided by the national church setting.
This year, the thirty-third gathering of the General Synod will take place entirely online, offering many who otherwise might not be able to travel to a meeting to participate online, some perhaps for the first time!
The 2021 General Synod will take place from July 11-18, 2021. Registration opens on April 13, 2021.
