Our Food Forward Project was established in 2016 with the goal of helping those in our community who are food-insecure. We’ve added one dollar to the price of our church suppers, and it’s that extra dollar that funds the program. We are especially thankful for all the generous donations made beyond that single dollar from the meals. Since its inception, Food Forward has raised $6,875.00!
Early recipients of the funds were Kid’s Café, sponsored by the Attleboro Area Interfaith Collaborative, McDonald’s gift cards for the unhoused, and the Community Comets Food Pantry at the Community School in North Attleboro. For the third year now, we are providing grocery store gift cards, distributed by Lenore’s Pantry in North Attleboro.
We are blessed and always amazed at the generosity of our supper patrons and fair attendees for their support of this important cause.
