Wow! It’s been a busy year! Our fundraising efforts, which support a significant portion of our yearly budget, nearly matched our goal for the year.
We began the “Supper Season” in February with a turkey take-out supper. It is a very popular event, a bit easier for us to put together, and it helps us ease into the supper season. In March, we had our traditional corned beef supper, our second turkey supper in May, followed by a chicken BBQ in June, the roast beef supper in September, and a third turkey supper in October. All suppers are now single seating, which makes the workload a bit lighter. That doesn’t seem to diminish their popularity with our dedicated community, without whom we could not do any of this.
We held three fairs this year: our Spring fair, our (two-day) Fall fair and auction in November, and our Winter art and craft fair in December. A big thank you to all who came together to make these events possible. Special thanks to Cindi Barkley and Deb Fennell for being our team leaders and for keeping us in some semblance of order!

In August, we were contacted by Lowe’s of North Attleboro, offering us free appliances they were discontinuing. Ed Clavette picked up three Electrolux cordless vacuums and a large upright freezer, all new in the packages! Thank you, Bruce, for helping unload and unpack the freezer. We chose to keep one vacuum and the freezer for our church’s use and sold the remaining two vacuums in our Not-So-Silent auction. Thank you, Lowe’s!
Our pet clinic, which was established 12 years ago, has now serviced 759 dogs and 450 cats with monthly vaccinations and well-visit clinics. This would not be possible without the generous donation of time and expertise from Dr. Peter Granville. Many thanks to the volunteers who always step up and help with these clinics.
Just down the hall from the pet clinic is the Second Hand Thrift Shop, run by the dedicated members of our Missions Ministry. This is their first full year in operation! Due to the shop’s popularity, they have now expanded from one room to three rooms and are open on Wednesdays as well as Saturdays.
We also held two yard sales this year. Special thanks to Ed Clavette and Pat and Tom Sanford for their dedication, and to the numerous people who came out to set up, sell, and pack up at the end of the day.
Speaking of Ed Clavette, we hold him responsible for another successful year of online sales! He is always posting, selling, and sometimes delivering items to their new owners. That is an immense amount of work and dedication. Thanks, Ed!
Thank you, thank you! None of these ventures would be possible without the hard work of our Church family. There are too many of you to list in this report! It is often said, “Many hands make light work”. Well, we stepped up to the plate, met the challenge, and had fun doing it!
We look forward to a successful fundraising year in 2026.
Respectfully submitted for the Fundraising Ministry,
Jim Koepfler
