“Love doesn’t ask, why are you hungry? Love just pours the soup.”
~ John Roedel
Ministers: ALL of our Members and Friends
Pastor & Teacher: The Rev. Kelly Thibeault
Welcome to the Oldtown Church!
We are so glad that you have chosen to worship with us today. We invite you to join in on the bold print in the bulletin and to stand as you are able any time you see a ⇑. The restrooms are out the back door of the sanctuary to the right, as is a little space in case your little one needs a walkabout. Here in Oldtown, we are all about being curious, so don’t be afraid to ask questions, and please join us for fellowship with coffee and refreshments after worship!
Finally, as a way of honoring our time together and truly loving our neighbor, we ask that you please silence your phone or, better yet, turn it off, allowing yourself to be truly present in worship.

CALL TO WORSHIP
Come, all who thirst,
And drink the water of life
Come, all who hunger,
And be filled with good things.
Come, all who seek,
And be warmed by the love of God in this place.

TIME OF SHARING
Open our eyes, Lord, we want to see Jesus,
To reach out and touch Him, and say that we love Him.
Open our ears, Lord, and help us to listen.
Open our eyes, Lord, we want to see Jesus.
SCRIPTURE READING: Mark 6:30-44 (NT 50)

SERMON: “Tailgating with Jesus”
PREPARING OURSELVES FOR PRAYER
In moments like these, I sing out a song,
I sing out a love song to Jesus.
In moments like these, I lift up my hands,
I lift up my hands to the Lord.
Singing, I love You, Lord.
Singing, I love You, Lord.
Singing, I love You, Lord.
I love You.
PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE and THE LORD’S PRAYER
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

⇑ BENEDICTION
⇑ BENEDICTION RESPONSE
Sent forth by God’s blessing, our true faith confessing,
The people of God from this dwelling take leave.
The service is ended, O now be extended
The fruits of our worship in all who believe.
The seed of the teaching, receptive hearts reaching,
Shall blossom in action for God and for all.
God’s grace did invite us, and love shall unite us,
To work for God’s realm and to answer the call.

Ways you can help:
- We are having a jeans/pants sale for the month of February. We are looking for clean jeans/pants in good condition.
- Thank you for your generous donations. Moving forward, we ask that all donations be dropped off during shop hours.
- All donations should be clean, usable, and without chips or dents. No dish sets, please.
Thanks so much for all the support you have given this mission.

Today we are collecting cans of soup and financial donations. Every can + every dollar makes a difference—and 100% of what we collect goes straight to local food charities working to ensure no one goes without a meal. If you would like to make a financial donation, please use the manila envelope in your pew.
Join the movement, share the love, let’s score big for good!

STEWARDSHIP CORNER
Weekly Giving
- Last week, we welcomed 54 people in worship. Our total giving to the church for the week was $2,478.69, which is $978.69 more than expected.
- Our congregational giving so far this year is $900 more than expected. Keep up the great work.
The Super Bowl is one of the best exhibits of how amazing things can be accomplished through teamwork. Here in Oldtown, we’re all a team working together in many different ways to spread the Word of God and show people how Jesus lives in us through outreach to our community. Think about what makes you passionate in your faith and see how you can connect that energy with others at Oldtown. Remember, everything that happens at Oldtown happens because we make it happen
Whatever task you must do, work as if your soul depends on it, as for the Lord and not for humans, since you know that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward; you serve the Lord Christ.
