PREPARING OURSELVES FOR PRAYER
In moments like these, I sing out a song,
I sing out a love song to Jesus.

In moments like these, I lift up my hands.
I lift up my hands to the Lord.

Singing, “I love you, Lord.”
Singing, “I love you, Lord.”

Singing, “I love you, Lord. I love you.”

PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE and the LORD’S PRAYER
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

Sent forth by God’s blessing, our true faith confessing,
The people of God from this dwelling take leave.

The seed of the teaching, receptive hearts reaching
Shall blossom in action for God and for all.

To work for God’s realm and to answer the call.

  • Our Fall Turkey Supper is the last supper of the year, and it’s only three weeks away! If you’d like to help us out prepping the food, setting up the dining room, serving, or cleaning up, please go to https://www.oldtownucc.org/signup to sign up online to help. Knowing in advance how many hands we have makes it much easier to organize our suppers and events.

    Greetings, Glenn,

We do not run a food pantry at Oldtown. However, there are a number of food pantries nearby. I encourage you to get in touch with the Attleboro Area Interfaith Collaborative at https://attleboroareainterfaithcollaborative.org/. They are a great local resource for coordinating the Attleboro area’s food pantries and soup kitchens. Here is a link to a brochure describing their “Food N’ Friends” program which we at Oldtown support through all of our church suppers: https://www.oldtownucc.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/food-n-friends-brochure-2019.pdf

    Peace and Blessings to you!
