Ministers: ALL of our Members and Friends
Pastor & Teacher: The Rev. Kelly Thibeault

Welcome to the Oldtown Church!

We are so glad that you have chosen to worship with us today. We invite you to join in on the bold print in the bulletin and to stand as you are able whenever you see a . The restrooms are out the back door of the sanctuary to the right, as is a little space in case your little one needs a walkabout. Here in Oldtown, we are all about being curious, so don’t be afraid to ask questions, and please join us for fellowship with coffee and refreshments after worship!
Finally, as a way of honoring our time together and truly loving our neighbor, we ask that you please silence your phone or, better yet, turn it off, so you can be truly present in worship.

STEWARDSHIP CORNER

Weekly Giving

  • Last week, our total giving to the church for the week was $1,702.28, which is $202.28 more than expected.
  • Our congregational giving so far this year is $300 more than expected. Keep up the good work!

The Bible is more than a book. And it’s also more than the sixty-six books in the traditional biblical canon. It is a series of stories: stories of creation, of history, and of the future, poetry and wisdom and song, stories of celebration and stories of lament, but mostly stories of God’s love for all of us. Taken as a whole, it is the story of God’s creation, God’s love for the people, and God’s plan, but each of us remembers different stories that hold different meanings for all of us. Hold all these stories in your heart, keep them with you always, and share them with others.

You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by all, and you show that you are a letter of Christ, prepared by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets that are human hearts.
