We are all one family,
Made in the image of God.
We are all one family,

SERMON

PREPARING OURSELVES FOR PRAYER (C#586)
Open my eyes that I may see
Glimpses of truth thou hast for me.
Place in my hands the wonderful key
That shall unclasp and set me free.
Silently, now, I wait for thee,
Ready, my God, thy will to see.
Open my eyes. Illumine me, Spirit divine!

PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE and THE LORD’S PRAYER
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

BENEDICTION

BENEDICTION RESPONSE
Sent forth by God’s blessing, our true faith confessing,
The people of God from this dwelling take leave.
The service is ended. O now be extended
The fruits of our worship in all who believe.
The seed of the teaching, receptive hearts reaching
Shall blossom in action for God and for all.
God’s grace did invite us, and love shall unite us
To work for God’s realm and to answer the call.

STEWARDSHIP CORNER

Weekly Giving

  • Last week, we welcomed 53 people in worship, and our total giving to the church for the week was $1,146.23, which is $238.39 less than expected for the week.
  • So far, this year’s congregational giving is $1,400 more than we expected. Keep up the great work!!

Great thanks to all who have stepped up and volunteered to participate in our ministries this year. Know that all of our ministries are open to accepting help from new folks throughout the year. You can find names and email addresses on our website and the church bulletin board if you have questions or are interested in any of our ministries. As we always say, “Many hands make light work,” and they also make it fun and enjoyable to do the rewarding work of the church!

Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up the other, but woe to one who is alone and falls and does not have another to help
