When Kait graduated in 2006, we formed an ad-hoc Coffeehouse Crew Committee to continue this ministry. For the past 16 years this coffeehouse has been a…
Annual Report of the Historian 2019
Everything old is new again! How true that really is. We continue to share the story of Oldtown and who we are and what we do with all who will listen and are interested. Not only do we take part in the Tour of the Town for our third graders every spring, but we also share our past in conjunction with the North Attleboro Historical Commission by sharing an Open House at…
Annual Report of the Stewardship Ministry 2019
The Stewardship Ministry continues its focus on communicating our church’s financial workings and our fundraising efforts. “Stewardship” is another word for “caretaking,” and we do our best to make sure everyone knows what is needed to keep our church running and how best everyone can help. As you…

Missions Ministry Annual Report 2018
2018 saw a growth in, not only the size, but of the dedication of the Missions Ministry. Each of them, along with Kris Collins and Jeannette Galvin, brought new ideas, energy, and compassion to the group. The first order of…
Church Fair Mission Report 2018
Our 2018 fall fair was held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 and it certainly provided us with lots of reasons to celebrate. These additions were well received with our guests and we plan to continue them in 2019. Many members of our congregation…
Annual Report of the Historian 2018
The year 2018 has been basically very quiet. We did have a couple of calls from people trying to find information about their relatives. One came from a descendant of the Slaiger family who used to live on Old Post Rd. Another call revealed a story about a young man from N. Attleboro who studied under Harry Houdini and perished in a steamship accident. He was Millard…

Food Forward Project 2018
Our Food Forward was established in 2016 with the goal of helping those in our community who are food insecure. We added one dollar to the price of our Church suppers and it’s that extra dollar the funds the program. A great meal is enjoyed and that little extra means someone else will eat as well, thus paying it forward. In 2016 the Food Forward program raised $929, in…
Report of the Deacons for 2018
It is my pleasure to report, on behalf of the Oldtown Deacons, that the spiritual life of our church is thriving. It is a challenging time for houses of worship competing with all of the time commitments in everyone’s lives and with all of the messages we are bombarded with every day from social media, television, and the nature of discourse in today’s…
